Merry Christmas
And Happy New Year!!
This year I have seen so many people down.

Between the cost to stay warm, even average families,
can't afford to keep warm, other bills, and the bustle of this time
of year.
Then the pressure of making the holiday.
Most of us can't find anyone to help us, for so many,
we feel hopeless and so alone.
I have been told to leave my husband... to get help.
What a wonderful thing to suggest the month of December.
Split up my family......
But I refuse to give up hope,
and my Christmas wish to everyone is the same!!
We all spend so much time worrying, especially this
time of year, we go out fighting for parking, standing in lines forever,
fighting traffic, and basically, just putting up with the hustle and
bustle of it all. Cry over bills, desperate to make it all work out,
and find something to make a great Christmas morning for our children.
 |
We all seem to forget.... Some even ask why?
Is it even worth it?
Well that is why I made this page!! *Points to the left to Mr. Hope*
Hope to help you see it is worth it!
As well as hope to help you find that warm fuzzy feeling!
My Christmas gift to all who read this!
To once again believe in Santa Claus!
I am 34 years old, Mother of 4 children.
I
believe in
Santa Claus
go ahead and laugh, Others have done so to my
face!
But you know, that's their loss.
If you are laughing at me,
At least I bring a smile to your face,
when the spirit of the holiday can not.
|
there are famous things that folks have expressed the
spirit and magic.
like the famous letter of 8 year old Virginia

The song sang by Alabama "I still believe in you"

Lastly Polar Express I saw for the first of many times
since Thanksgiving weekend, I can only suggest buying this movie!
I have
never been so touched by anything I have seen or read, as I was with
this movie.
It is as true and real as it can be told!
With all the magic along the way!

Most of my friends have heard it a thousand times...
"Life is what you make of it, not what you let it make you"
Christmas my friends is very much the same.
if you let it become, bills, work, a pain, traffic,
rude holiday shoppers, decorating for days, dragging the boxes
down from the attic, Ode to the horror!
Then that's all it will ever be to you.
If you can never see the magic and spirit of the time
I feel so sorry for you...
|
|
Yes! it gets to me as it does you, do not get me wrong.
But it's all how you see it, all how you feel while doing it.
If you don't have the pleasure of children in your home?
I know you know someone who does!
Perfect timing to lift the burden of their parents this time of year.
Offer to take the kids, to help you decorate!
Watch the sparkle as they help you do so,
and the "Wows" they give from seeing what you have different to decorate
with at your house
Also gives mom/dad a chance to get a secret mission
or two accomplished.

My Christmas's
every year....
countless hours, surfing the web for the best
deals, working on saving every penny I can to be able to get as
much as I can for my kids. Hope the boxes arrive while everyone
is in school, so they don't spend a hour trying to figure out
what it is.
Stuffing the under side of my bed with what will
fit. The rest of the year that is a scary place, even for me *shivers*
So I know they won't get under to look.
This year I find myself saying, nah not buying that won't fit
under the bed
This year, everyone is in school.
SO I won't have to sneak in the house the "different"
wrapping paper, and sneak off for any shopping trips, then in
the house! Or wait till they are asleep to bring things in.
|
I remember one of the things that made me ask "the"
question. Was that the paper on my gifts from Santa, was exactly the
same as the ones we wrapped and gave to family. Plus the fact Santa's
hand writing looked so much like my mothers... hmmm....
Ok... so 1-2 am 12/25 count down to snoring... 1 child
sleeping, now 2, 3, HA!!
3 am everyone's out!! we get under the bed... batteries popped in, spend
20 minutes fighting with T over anything that needs put together, get
lost playing with something, wrap it all up, set the scene...
 |
*yawn* and crawl into bed around 5... snuggle
up, say Merry Christmas, I love you..... get a kiss......only
to be interrupted by....
MOM!!!! DADDY POOH!!!!!
WAKE UP!!! SANTA CAME!!!
MOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMM
*screams and lots of hyperventilating*
Another kiss from T, saying "so much for
that idea"
as we crawl right back out of bed.
T and I looking like Zombies, My kids like vultures
waiting for my nod...
In 10 minutes flat, the beautiful scene I made,
and all the careful wrapping...
is looking like the wrapping booth at the toy store, threw up.
Toys and paper everywhere!
|
Now 3 of my kids believe in the magic and spirit of
Christmas,
My son hasn't asked "the" question yet.
Which leaves him part of the magic for the rest of us
If you ask any of them "Do you believe in Santa
Claus"
They would all answer yes.
The oldest three with a warmer feeling of pride in their answer
They are also heart broken if someone pokes fun at them
for their answer.
Just as I am, and feel sorry for the person doing so,
They have never had that warm fuzzy Christmas feeling.
Or they just forgot it...
For us it's not so much believing there is a
fat dude,
a few thousand years old, flying over to our house, stuffing a
bag of toys down our chimney on Christmas eve, sneaking around
while we are asleep, eating up a bunch of cookies,
and leaving gifts, while bellering "Ho Ho Ho"
It's the magic!
I have managed to teach my children.
It is believing in the Spirit of Santa Claus,
the Magic and Spirit of the holiday.
And that warm fuzzy feeling you get from it.
(as well as it is my 3 oldest wondering how I managed to pull
off at least one surprise *wink*)

For me, Somewhere in the joy of the day, Time stands
still...
I am lost in the magic,
There are no bills, there are no worries about a home,
there is no problems,
There is only joy, happiness and love.
Be there 4 presents for 4 kids, or 50.
Now time speeds up, to get back in sync,
with in a hour there is bickering over toys,
and she's touching my lip gloss....
and he won't leave my Barbie alone..
T just wants to know "Can I go back to bed now?"
But that frozen moment in time, when all is right with
the world.
Refreshes me, and lets me handle it a bit better.
Instead of yelling, and pulling out my hair.
I remember they are who they are, and I love them for it.
Then I yell! LOL!

|
But as well, all we are going through..
Bills? we will muddle through...
House? We will survive this!
The kids lately? They are kids..
If I never give or teach my kids anything else,
I have and will teach them the spirit and magic of Christmas,
I honestly think it's the greatest gift I can
give them.
It is the same spirit and drive
that will keep them going their entire lives
and in any situation.
They will then know and have the belief
Nothing is impossible
|
The same magic is all year round,
My daughter made a... umm thing for T
The pride that beamed from her!
he said "wow, it's nice... umm.. what is it?"
My son brought home is first picture from school
"very nice? tell me about it? Ohh yes I see it's a squirl eating
acorns..."
The feeling I get when I want to take a sock.. and ploitely
shove t down my daughters throat, if I have to listen to her practice
the song for the musical one more second! Which is the same feeling I get while, keeping
her sister from stuffing a sock down her throat.
But even more so the feeling you get after you load
up all the kids, managed everyone dressed and clean, no wrinkles, go
to the musical with the attitude of geeze, I have to listen to it again!
But the warmth you get as the child stands up in front of everyone and
performs, it's like you have never heard the song before!
I only hope when I turn my role of Mom over to my kids,
in 10 years or so, They are able to capture that moment in time, where
all is right with the world. In learning to do that, the can also find
the joy in every day of their lives.
So again from my family to yours, with this world is
such a mess.

Just put your hand to your heart, feel the beat?
That is the only place you will be able to find it.

So from my heart to yours,
My warmest heart felt love and wishes
for you to find the Spirit of Christmas and warmth in you heart. For a wonderful Christmas Season! And hope for the New Year!
